Metering Pump :
A metering pump is a reciprocating controlled volume pump used to accurately dose a chemical into a system / pipeline. The flow rate of the pumps can be adjusted according to the requirements.
Very common applications for the metering pumps are adding chlorine to water for disinfections, PH correction in effluent treatment, addition of biocides and inhibitors in cooling tower water treatment and additon of inhibitors for boiler water.
MRI offers wide range of metering pumps which can handle various chemicals including slurries, viscous fluids from 10 cc / h to 45,000 l / h. |
